OK, new question. I figured out that the games were downloaded under my brothers account, Microsofts DRM policy probably keeps DLC with only the person who downloaded it in the case of a new xbox. Anyways, anything I can possibly do to get the stuff on my account?
I recently bought a new xbox arcade after my old PRO broke. I just popped on my old harddrive onto my new arcade and everything was working fine. Today when I tried to play Halo: CE which I downloaded from the marketplace it would not play. Anerror would pop up saying "Cannot play Halo:CE", or something like that.
Any suggestions, solutions. Help would be appreciated, Thanks.
Saved games should be fine.. Say you download new levels for a game or arcade game on your pro.. then its licensed to that machine Then you put your HDD on your arcade.. the new levels/game wont work because its licensed for the Pro not the arcade. IP has nothing to do whether you can go play games or not... BurnsOfRage
My xbox got the E74 Error last week and so I just decided to buy a new arcade console(I previously had a pro with a 20g HDD), I hooked up the arcade and put on the hard-drive. Until reading the post I didn't know if my DLC maps were accessible, but I just went to see and sure enough my maps loaded just fine. So I don't think that there is any licencing issues involved.
