I don't think they are going to drop out, but I think a lot of their third partysupporters are going to at the very least port to the 360 if not shift over to it entirely.
It's going to start with Devil May Cry 4 360 outselling the PS3 version 4:1, after which Capcom will start making 360 the lead platform on all projects, with some having the PS3 half cancelled or not started, due to lagging sales.
From there I expect Atlus titles to pull the same trend and a similar reaction from the company. Meanwhile, companies like Konami and Square-Enix will shift and the rest of the third parties will follow.
Yes, of course. It is the consumers' fault that they don't want a product with features that they aren't demanding at a pricepoint that is unrealistic. Maybe if you were over the age of 18 and were a part of the workforce, you would understand why the cheapest video game entertainment system is thriving during a time of rising costs, high inflation and economic decline or stagnation, depending on where you live.
Yeah, I watched a french gameplay video of this on gametrailers and was not impressed. I was shocked to hear that they were tacking on MMO functions to what I originally thought was Oblivion with up to 8 player gameplay, but looking at the art direction, model design, graphics, animations, etc it really starts making sense. The whole thing just screams low quality MMO. And the controls looked really bad in the video. It looked like whoever was playing was having a real hard time taking on some bandits as a mage. Half of the time you couldn't even see the bandits and the fireball looked like something out of a 3D PS1 game. My priorities right now are scoring Guitar Hero 2 and Forza 2. Two Worlds was a must buy, but it will have to make way for better titles now.

Resistance and Motorstorm didn't really make me even bat an eye, but after playing Oblivion at my cousin's house on his PS3, it's absolutely noticeable how much more brown everything is. It's like my old Mitsubishi monitor that I am posting on right now. It makes everything look redder than it should, because it's old and probably somewhat faulty. Before the patch for the 360 version the PS3 actually looked better despite the brownness, but after applying the patch the 360 version looks better by far and is much more colorful looking. Even games like Lair and Heavenly Sword, from what I've seen, look very, very brown. Why is this?
