Going into this game, I heard nothing but "bugs, bugs, bugs." I'm happy to report that while I'm only an hour or so into the game, I haven't encountered a bug yet.

The graphics are beautiful, in all of their Direct X 10.1 glory, and I'm happy to see that the STALKER Clear Sky Complete mod further enchances their beauty.

I like the faction alliance feature, where you gain or lose reputation with different factions according to your actions. Choose your allies carefully.

This game also seems to explain its predecessor well, as I'm beginning to understand more about its story, background, and setting.

I'm playing it on novice, and still finding the beginning difficult, as I have already run out of ammunition for my assault rifle. It's back to shotguns and pistols for now.
