He's not on trial, yet. They're just questioning him. The only thing they could do is catch him saying something that contradicts some earlier testimony - but then, he just get's slapped with Perjury. But he won't be sent to jail for drugs or steroids or anything liek that.

However, in the court of public opinion, anything is possible. Baseball journalists are in the court of public opinion - THEY can decide to vote against him getting into the Hall of Fame.

And honestly - Clemens acting like pitching in the Olympics is some sort of "CHARITY" is a joke. Clemens acts like he's doing the world a FAVOR by being a great pitcher. WTF? He's trying to martyr himself or something?

Clemens is really stretching himself by bringing his family into it and dropping names like ex-Presidents. He needs to focus on the issues, not his name. It's way too self-serving.

The Congressman also need to stop asking him questions about helping society. This hearing is about performance enhancing drugs, not benefiting charity.

Yeah, remember, he had little talks with all the congressman before the hearing. He gave them memorabilia and stuff, or so I heard.
