i recently ripped some music from itunes to a cd and was able to put them on my hard drive. itunes music can't go into media player though- its in aac format, which is covered in the optional update someone mentioned before.
whoa whoa whoa. If your internet allows you to play online, get gold. If you buy the 13 month subscription for $50, that's only 5 bucks a month. I bought mine at Best Buy for $30 after a $10 price drop and a $10 coupon I got from buying my 360 a few months earlier. Online is definitely worth it for a few bucks a month.
Don't think I'd pay 54 bucks on rechargeable batteries when I have a set of 8 rechargeable duracells that I bought for $20. Also, who buys that wireless adapter for the 360? $80 is a ripoff when you can use ics or hack a $30 router to do the same thing
Don't think you'll want Halo unless a lot of your friends have it and you'll play a lot of LAN games... Gears of War 2 has bots, so the local multiplayer isn't too bad, even though the AI is stupid at times. Halo's single player isn't very fun to me, and Gears isn't much better; both games are centered around multiplayer.
I'd have to say Halo just because its more fun online. To me, Gears and Halo are two totally different games, and between them, I always have something to play on my 360.
I'd play the games first if you haven't already. Halo is great online, and most people love playing it. Gears is a little buggy online, but is still a great game. Even though everyone compares the two games, Halo and Gears are two totally different shooters.
I've played entire teams of generals, although i don't know their specific grade. the funny thing about halo is, some people play all the time and still are no good. they may be brigadiers or colonels, but that's just because they got the game at it's midnight release and have been playing it ever since.
