OK ...Wii is not so bad...but I hate it anyway!

I had a Wii... for 6 month. Then I sold it, for a profit. 100$ (Canadian), that's it! Why ? Because, it's more than it will cost me in 2 years to buy a new one and enjoy the five game I'll want to play. Because Zelda was maybe better for it, but the Wiimot is still not precis enough in most game to be call (as many will) a superior control device. Because on a HD big screen TV, WII graphics are ugly. Because... Nintendo is not, except for a few titles, expending the market, it switching the market focus to the casual market.

Why should it bother you? Because this all thing started whit the DS... and look what it as already done. You were looking forward to the next dragon quest to expand on PS3? You can look forward to N64 graphics and superness game-play... I understand that Japan love the DS and it will sale like crazy, but that not my point... The game you where looking for will never exist because of this shift. Even PSP is stealing some title. Parasite Eve 3 on mobile? When we want to be creeped out on the go? Really? Now imagine it on PS3 or 360... that's the game I want. And now, we hear of all the development resources migrating to the Wii and we're suppose to believe it won't affect us the "hardcore" gamer?! Yes the Bioshock, Halo 3, Mass Effect, GTA4, Ratchet future, White Knight are still coming, and they will always be... but imagine what level 5 could Have done with Dragon Quest on PS3! Well it not coming...so don't tell me I'm not missing anything. I don't mine Nintendo expanding the market (and they are!), but they re about to forget the very people that made them a success in the last 20 years because they lost the last round... and that's not right... if your serious about expanding, don't shift the resources, create more, invest, make more game for all type of gamers, not just more non-games for sucker moms and everyone! But at the last E3 , they've showned nothing but comptent for the traditional gamer. And still I shouldn't worry... but I do, because they are wining. Now the rest of the industrie will shift whit them, and I can't help but wonder what games I won't get to play in the coming years because of it. I'm selfish that way...

End of my drunken rant for now.
