A new post on my neglected blog

Not posted in a while.

Basically i'm looking to review some more games on Gamespot over the coming days. I've also recently got Band Hero for my 21st from my fiancée, will be playing it once I get out of work tonight, fantastic game. Only really got into Guitar Hero a week or so ago, never bothered with them because whenever I tried at my friends house I would always fail. But I got 3 LoR because it was only £25 for the game with guitar. Now having Band Hero its great, being able to play with friends and jump in and out of songs. Also, with me still being a beginner can play on easy/medium whilst everyone else who are better can play on Expert.

I'm finding myself now just playing party type games on my PS3, Band Hero/GH and Buzz. I've gone back into my PC gaming, playing games like Arma II and Bioshock. As you've guessed, both are FPS games which are better suited for PC. I think the PS3 will be my choice for party, platform and puzzle type games.

I'm currently looking to upgrade my PC, its current specs are:

AMD Athlon X2 6000+ 3.0Ghz Dual core / 4GB DDR2 800 Mhz / 500GB WD 32MB HDD / NVIDIA Geforce 8800 GTX XXX Edition / X-Fi 7.1 Soundcard, Fatal1ty Champion Edition

I was looking to upgrade to a Phenom II quad core 3.2 Ghz CPU on AM3 with 4GB of DDR3 and possibly a ATi 5870 graphics card, not really decided on cards right now though and will depend on budget, its a major upgrade of my pc and i've only right now got a budget of about, £500.

I'm really looking forward to E3 this year, i think we'll see GTA 5 announced along with the rumoured Elder Scrolls MMORPG. I'm not sure what everyone else would like to see announced. I who will announce the next gen of consoles. I think it may be Sony in some respects because the 360 beat them onto the shelves last time and they made such a loss during much of the PS3's span right now. Although the PS3 isn't yet using its full system resources. I don't think the 360 will be ending its life for a good few years as there is so much planned for it, I beleive the next Xbox will be launched once Live Anywhere has completely launched.
