@fraga500: Why is it a bad analogy? They are both game series which have pushed out games year after year based on the same basic premise. Every single Mario game is pretty much the same when you get down to the story. Peach is somehow captured by Bowser and Mario has to go put his foot up his arse again to get her back.
I think the only deviations were Super Mario RPG, Mario is Missing, the spin off series (aka Mario Party/Mario Kart) and Galaxy (Have not played Galaxy recently, hence the 'think').
@__MasterVAL__ Umm Sony has 20 exclusives in the first year along with 100 first party titles being developed for the system (read as also exclusive since most FPs do not go cross platform). Also consider indy titles which Microsoft has all but banned from the XB1.
Hope they get P5 out before anything can hit a fan (best laid plans of mice and men and all that). Frankly I would trust no one but Atlus with the Persona franchise. If they end up getting sold off it better be to Sony; do not want to see another "Rare" situation.
@Bellum_Sacrum @EDFXNights AAA FPS' have to buy good reviews. Games like Persona, Catherine, and SMT are good enough to get them without that extra side cash.
@Sefrix @AzulSoul I never had any problems with either of the games. Well no 2 does have some camera issues and places where you can get stuck but that was all I ran into. But I never had any problems with DS1. Maybe I am just lucky though.
Wow, so much hate for Nordic. How about playing some of their good games instead of the crap. They have published a lot of solid gold in the past. Spellforce, Torchlight, and Gothic to name a few franchises.
In fact they are my inspiration for the game I am currently making, a space based RTS/RPG hybrid.
