The best RPG for dialog is Planescape Torment. You only *have* to fight a few times in the whole game-you can talk or sneak your way out of things.

Other highlights: Wisdom is the best statistic! You don't reload after you die, death is incorporated into the game mechanics. You always save before *talking* to an important character, but you don't bother before a fight!

The tone of your question suggests that you don't really want an answer but I will try anyway.

Many of us have only so many hours a day, week, month, year to play games. We have other responsibilities. With that in mind, we have to a make choice about which games to play. In our view, most of the superior experiences are on the PC. Innovation, modding, multiplayer, challenge.

I'm *not* saying you can't get these things on a console, but there is more than enough of this on the PC to keep me gaming forever in the time I have. If I was uber rich and played games all the time, I probably would get all the consoles to get the very best games on each. But since I don't, I stick with the best of the best.

I became a PC only gamer in 1993 when I started college. I guess I am one of the older people here.

Prior to that I split between PC and consoles.

on the evga forums, a couple of people are reporting that they had problems which were resolved by the new drivers. so it probably depends on your particular system. While you are waiting, might as well update.

I think Psychonauts was a big shame, people didnt really buy it and it was beautifully designed and its gameplay was amazingly addictive.

One of those games that failed due to hardly any promotion.

Also, Planescape Torment. I know it seems like it sold 2 billion copies because of the love it gets,

but it actually sold very poorly.

Finally, undying. This was a fps with great atmosphere that never did well.
