Currently Watching: Last Night's Adult Swim - "Fullmetal Alchemist"
IRL
So, it's been eleven days since my last update. The only gaming I've done since then was about five minutes in Twilight Town to check out the Harvest Moon. However, I did have a LOT of gaming progresses before that as you'll soon read. First things first though. Adobe Premiere Pro 7.0 just came in from Ebay. I don't see much difference between it and the 1.5 free trial version I downloaded a few days ago. My first project is code-named "Blue-Eyed Angel", featuring Xenosaga Episode I clips set to Evanescence's "Haunted". I've bought DIVX Pro, so I won't have to wait 24 hours to convert VOB files to AVI. One thing I have to say, I asolutely LOVE my dvd recorder. I can tape adult swim, so I don't have to stay up all night and if I start around midnight, I can get Case Closed as well. I'm also recording the holidays in Animal Crossing. Too bad I didn't think of that from the start. Oh well. I've also discovered the wonderous "auto chapter" so I can set it up for 30 minute chapters and easily skip to my favorite shows first. There's also the "repeat chapter" so Fullmetal Alchemist has been playing over and over for the last 3 hours, hehe. Another thing I absolutely LOVE is this laptop. I need to pay off all $1000 before January if I want to avoid interest, but it's worth it. DVD burner, automatically installed with windvd creator, and I've already used up more gigs than what I could hold maximum (which was 40 GB) on my old one. This screen is a little iffy, but I'm used to it. The compact design makes it much easier to carry. I've also changed my avatar to a semi-custom "GhostlyMaiden" featuring Lume from the anime Better Man, and I've joined the Guns, Buns, and Fun In the Sun Union. My third union at last. I think I'll have more fun reading in this union rather than posting though. ^^ Now for all the games I've played during "the burn-out".
Final Fantasy VIII - I've recorded about 6 dvds (1 hr. each), and I'm only at D-District Prison on Disc 2. This is starting from a new game naturalement.
Tales of Symphonia - I've recorded about 5 or 6 dvds and I'm up to the point where Colette goes to the Tower of Salvation to "become an angel". Remiel...grrrr... I've also managed to start a file with my little brother. He only participates in the fights and could care less about the story and dungeon puzzles. Go fig. (However, having manual partners make the battle go far faster than a team of autos.)
Shadow Hearts: Covenant - 1 dvd. I'm only in Le Havre and we're still working for the mayor. Grand Papillion....ROFLMAO...woo, had to get that out.
Legend of Zelda: Windwaker - 1 dvd. I'm working on the volcano area to help the Great Valoo. Btw, Komali is kawaii. Those big droopy eyes make me wanna hug him and squeeze him and....*cough* excuse me. My age was regressing for a minute there. I've already beaten this game once. (Before my brother, too, for that matter! Hah hah!)
Suikoden IV - Half a dvd. I'm about to go on my first "official mission". Long boat rides coming up. Blech. I've blazed ahead, so it's good to see that I'll be out of Caelin soon. That place has way too much grey. Someone please discover the color wheel there.
Fire Emblem - I'm on a pirate ship heading for some island in Elwood's story. I've managed to make it this far without losing someone (took a lot of resets).
Lunar Legends - I've gone through the Blue Dragon shrine and am on my way to the Black Dragon. (Ack, I was so close to finishing this game, than my batteries die out while I'm saving! ARRRGGGHHHH!) Oh, a bonus tip for anyone else who has this game (for GBA). Since you can save at anytime, save whenever you're party has been seriously damaged and reset the game. Your characters are fully healed upon start-up. Pretty cool bug, ne? I hope it's a bug at least. ^^;
Pokemon Crystal - Yeah, I know. Pokemon... Personally I don't DO fads. If I like something I genuinely like it. Pokemon isn't a big thing on my list anymore, but it's good to return to the old days. I've started the game over and have decided to do something I haven't done since I first played Pokemon Blue. I'm training ALL my pokemon at the same time. Usually I just pick out my "top 6" and focus all efforts on them. Btw, Johto is the best continent of the threesome in my opinion, so the Gold/Silver/Crystal line is my favorite schtick. ^^
Soul Calibur II - Just recording each character's stories and endings. Not in the mood to do much else.
I'm pretty sure that's everything. Oh crud, I forgot Pap made chicken. Now it's cold. AHHH! See ya!
