IRL
I’ve received two of my dvds I’ve ordered from Amazon: “The Nightingale” from the old “Faerie Tale Theatre” tv series I watched as a child and the third volume of “Wolf’s Rain”. I personally found “Faerie Tale Theatre” to be extremely cheesy even as a child, but I just fell in love with “The Nightingale". The sweet little Nightingale who brought comfort and healing has become a symbol I try to use in every one of my stories. Even my muse takes the shape of a nightingale, thus creating my little used username “NightingaleMuse”. My pap keeps misspelling it though. He thinks the second i is supposed to be an e. Tee-hee! The dvd was only $3.00 too ^^. Once I’ve got the free time, I’m going to rip some of the pretty songs that little bird played from the dvd. “Wolf’s Rain” has been ignored for now since I haven’t seen the entire series yet and I’m trying to focus on my novel.
Speaking of my novel, I’ve broken the 40k mark! Woot! 40,640 words to be exact. I need to write roughly 2000 words a day if I want to finish on the 30th. I also have to pray that something bad doesn’t happen to my computer as well. Just imagine all that work shot down the drain just because the internet went kaput on the final day of manuscript uploading. Oh well, even if the site doesn’t say I finished 50k, I know I did. I’m going to try and practice typing more after this little project. I only type like 500 words an hour. Blech. Fortunately, I do have 4 hours a day to spare this week, but my moods are such a problem. Also on off-days, I tend to treat them as off-days. No work + no school = PARTY!!! I have a hard time breaking that mindframe. I actually get more done on my novel on days I have to go to work. Weird how that works.
Monster Rancher EVO
Well technically, I didn’t really play this. I spent a good 30 or so minutes scanning discs. Mainly because my pap rented “The Da Vinci Code” and was going to return it today. So, I figured I'd see what monsters were hiding in those discs. Then I decided to do a few more discs that I haven’t gotten around to scanning. My entire Monster Rancher EVO disc log can be found on my MySpace blog. ^^ I have quite a collection.
