How can I be a fanboy? Check my game collection and you will see that my last 6 games bought is 360 games.....Yeah, im a sony fanboy. Im so sick of that term being throw out every time someone tries to have an intelligent conversation. So if you have a 360 and a PS3, why are you bringing up Bioshock or mass effect coming to the PS3? You'll have both games reguardless, so whats the point of your thread. I didnt create the thread. But I'm mature enough to answer a simple question. Why cant he be interested in the games, ask a question, and do this without being labeled a fanboy? I dont even have a PS3 so where you get that from is beyond me. Parhaps actually reading what is said in all the post above will get you a little further?
Well, PS2 has a huge game library and is very cheap (like 100 bucks). Im not surprised people with less money then avarage goes for that one over any of the next gen consoles.

Yeah I think Bioshock will be the next Oblivion a timed exclusive coming to the PS3 after a while. Didn't Bioware say they were working on something for the PS3 though too?G-Legend
Yeah, they did. They havent revealed what it is though. On their homepage they have 5 titles in development. Mass Effect (360), Dragonage (PC), Unnamed (DS) Unnamed MMORPG (probably PC but doesnt say) and lastly unnamed (and with no spesified console). So that last "unnamed" might be the PS3 project. But as usual Bioware is keeping their stuff very close hehe.
All first party Sony will be exclusive. So thats a good chunk of games over time. Then as the userbase expands they will most likely get some 3rd party exclusives as well. A general theme though (for all consoles, not just PS3) this generation is less 3rd party exclusive. So the biggest differentiation will come from 1st party. Im not up to speed on Sonys first party lineup as I have a 360 but you should probably be able to find a list here on GS.
Mass Effect is owned by Microsoft. The rights i meen. So i can pretty much confirm that one right now. Its a 1st party game and will not be released on PS3. PC has a chance though. Bioshock is most likely a timed exclusive. They wont say that but you know how this industry works. Keep quiet as long as you can. Im guessing you will see Bioshock on the PS3 maybe 6 months later. MS says "exclusive". But im smelling timed exclusive for that one.
