The PS2 is very outdated, 7 years old, and still the number 1 selling console.

 you can't really compare ps2 with ps3 , ps2 had all the market share with almost no competition things are different now..

found that on a french website: in an interview SCEE VP (france)  Georges Fornay stated " Enfin, pour Final Fantasy XIII, je peux vous dire que l'exclusivité est en discussion (Lastly, for Final Fantasy XIII, I can say to you that exclusiveness is under discussion)."
