[QUOTE="Plug1Plug2"]If Nintendo isn't trying, imagine how well they would be doing if they were trying. In February, they sold more consoles than all other companies combined. your post is ridiculous

Well DUH! its selling good now...i said that already. But you've got to be kidding me if you think this will go on for its whole life cycle, with its rate of good games. Like i said its a fairly new product it has many excited with the wiimote. The sales show this.

But like i said with its rate of good games and its lack of good hardware don't expect it to last....very long. Hopefully they improve.

[QUOTE="Boba_Fett_3710"]I don't understand your statement about the Gamecube. How was it behind with the cube? Just saying it was behind doesn't mean anything. As for software, it just launched a few months ago. I remember the 360 not having any good games except maybe Madden when it came out. At least the Wii has a plan for future game releases.

Err, it had more than just madden. Regarding the cube...its 3rd party support was shocking and online wasn't even there. So how WASN't it behind??? Yes the future....nintendo keep saying that...but where not seeing it. They had plans for the cube too, but look what happened.

Seriouslly, It looks like nintendo don't even try no more...They always seem to be 2 steps behind since the cube debuted. The same continues with the Wii...Nintendo are just plain stubborn and don't care what gamers want....its either Nintendo way or the freakin highway. Look at Online, 3rd party support, Hardware...Nintendo Lack in all these areas and its 2007 people, and by the looks of it they just don't care and think they will do just fine with Marios and kiddy type games. Look at the games out now for the wii...what is there??? Kiddy trash, Anime stuff, Wiisports and more gimmicky rushed games based around the controller. What happen to Nintendos great variety of games they had in the Snes and n64 era?? Nintendo seem to treat Mature titles as poison...Seriouslly, WTF??? I don't hate them but Stubborn is what they are. They promised alot more, and yes i know its still early but its definetly seems like there heading in the same direction as the cube. Its better to start sooner then later, expecially concerning great titles and 3rd party support.

Hardware is another thing, Why didn't nintendo have both great up to date hardware along side the wiimote??? and don't give me the whole "its cheap" thing...cause we all know that didn't help the cube from failing. This way if they had added better "Nextgen" hardware they could of had more games..(ports) BUT NOOOOO! its all gameplay now. But did Nintendo think down the road??? How long do they expect this to last?? definetly not for the whole consoles life. Without better hardware (graphics) and more mature and decent titles..the Wiimote can only do so much untill people relize its getting alil old. Then they won't be able to rely on good graphics (which does effect gameplay)

Besides i'm sure many would of gladley payed extra for better hardware..right???

Just because the wii is doing good NOW doesn't mean it will continue...Its a no brainer that the New gameplay experience with the wiimote has people excited...SO its selling well. But in the end SOFTWARE is what counts. IMO, all i see good regarding games is the new Metroid prime and the new Resident Evil umbrella chornicles...thats it!

Just My opinion....what do you guys/gals think???

[QUOTE="GoldenCry"][QUOTE="Darkslayer16"]it will freeze even in an open area.. mine started to do that before it stopped working then i got it replaced.. the 2nd one lasted less then an hour.. even tho the 360 has good games the console is a cheap piece of ****GoldenCry

You sure its not USER error?? You can't have that much bad luck. Mine hasn't froze again since moving it to a more ventilated area.

yea im sure.. i take good care of my stuff.. i have games that are years old without any marks at all and they look new.. the only games i own that are scrathed are the ones my 360 scratched.. and no i dont do anything stupid like move the 360 when playing a game. the only time i moved it was after it was broken

Yeah, i'm the same way...But i noticed My copy of gears had scratches on it...and i know i didn't do it since its a brand new copy. Unless the 360 did it. Or was already like that when i bought it. Not sure if i should take it back or keep it. Cause if its a sign of more freezing to come.

[QUOTE="GoldenCry"]I recently got a 360 (less than a week ago) and already experienced some game freezing issues, I think it might be because i had the unit in a cabinent and there wasn't enough ventilation...i recently just replaced it beside my tv and haven't had any more freezes, yet (had no idea it produces SO much heat).... Anyone else experience this....Is this normal?? Or is it a sign of flaulty hardware???

thanks!

BTW, The suker get real hot at times.

Probably improper ventilation. Those things need a lot of room to breathe.

tell me about it, Damn things loud too.
