i AGREE

ya all needto admire how a game progresses, halo 1 -> halo 2- > halo 3, where halo 3 is probably the most solid shooter ive ever played, that will last for quite a long time

THOUGh the only thing that is downgraded, and this really sucks, is the maxamount of players in halo 3. NOT happy about that.

but i mean you look at other games, specially call of duty, and you see that not nearly the same amount of polishing. obviously sequels (halo series included) arnt supposed to be materialized from the ground up but like call of duty 4 is great and all but what the heck is so new about it besides that its in kazakhstan instead of france?

There is not enough fuss about the spring update! It has:

-caused graphical errors that truly have made beautiful games look like crap (got this)
-caused DvD reading errors
-caused people to have problems connecting to xbox live
-caused people to stop connecting to xbox live altogether
-caused a specific graphical error followed by freezing that would, in a worst case scenario,

destroy an xbox.

Apparently, people have paid to have their xbox repaired in a very short amount of time in response to a problem following this patch.

Not here to complain..I like Microsoft (probably because Windows is the only OS that plays games reliably). So many posts about minorities with problems have gone over with lip service by the community..and by Microsoft.

My response: I will keep my hands off my xbox till: the community assures one another that these problems have been mitigated or

as probably will not happen..Microsoft admits this update has caused damage, and then fixes it.

It's bad when you are paranoid about playing your xbox because a benign patch has turned into a plague!

Dude, the game is SO cheap now that it's worth buying even if you've never played an rpg before. Buying the game of the edition is like 10 bucks, and if you like it you have 500+ hours worth of gaming to keep you busy over intervals in your life.

Truthfully though, they're similar games but it is tough to downgrade from oblivion to morrowind for most people. We're all too used to the fast travel, the horses and the oiled game mechanics. Morrowind is classic rpg though if you like it and get into it.

The best feeling is when you go from a prisoner with sandals to an armored war machine with his own fortress. You go from somebody who can barely run around the continent to somebody who flies around.
