@evildead6789: Thanks! I can definitely get the 780ti. I just wanted to know if any other parts were in desperate need to be upgraded haha

@jun_aka_pekto: I was kinda thinking that just wasn't sure if my other components would bottleneck it. The fps benchmarks for the 780ti are very appealing. Thanks for your input!
I built myself a pc a few years back and it's been great. I haven't been able to stay as up to date on new tech as I'd like so I thought I'd tap into the great wisdom of the Gamespot forums. Anyways, I'd like to spend less than $800 sprucing up the old rig. Here's what I have... 1 TB 7200rpm HDD, 8GB DRR3 1333mhz RAM, Intel i7 @ 3.4Ghz (think its the second gen), Diamond HD 7850 2GB, (all shoved into a micro atx motherboard. I forget the brand and model), power supply is 1000 watts, and I'm running Windows 7 64 bit. I need to do a fresh install pretty badly but dont have the disks. So I'll probably need to buy win 8. If you all were me, how would you spend the money? I appreciate any advice!
Having just returned from the future, I can tell you that the gap will be insane. Like comparing the NES to PS2.

I too can confirm this.
It's gonna be announced today! Release date is November 23, 2013. Launch titles confirmed so far FFXV, Gran Turismo 6, and The Last Guardian.

I actually have no idea
I think the official start time is midnight EST. At least that's what I read on another site.
Hey Golevka, I would check often with your store to see when they have more of the Deluxe system to preorder and see if you can switch over to from the basic. When it comes down to it, the store manager is not going to be in charge of who gets what during the launch day, those kind of decisions are going to come from higher up managers such as the regional managers.

Hey thanks! Not a bad idea. Someone may cancel and if I'm lucky I may be able to swap:)
I still like OOT the best. And I still think the SMB3 is the best Nintendo game ever :D
Preorded the Basic set from Gamestop as that was all that was left. The manager said that I could just let them know launch day that I really wanted the Premium. This way I have an advantage over the people just waiting in line. Well... I just hope the manager is right. (He actually helped my brother get a Wii during the mad rush back in 2006. He held one for us while we drove up to the store.)
