The game has been out for a whole day now and I wanted to get people's thoughts on how their experience is going.
To me, the game is hugely impressive. The way the interface moves sometimes photorealistic visuals offer incredibly high production values. The game begins pretty slowly but soon begins to feed into a game that I had to force myself away from. Simply put - the game has moments that left me emotionally impacted and shocked.
So far... GameSpot seems a little off their rocker for not giving this one a AAA score, but to each their own.

I agree especially when they ding other games for not being innovative and trying something new. This entire game is a new genre in and of itself. What else do they want? The review nitpicked about screan tearing and pop-in , 2 things i didn't see once. They give this a 8.5 yet give halo odst that was an expensive expansion pak a 9.0..... If heavy rain was a shooter and on the xbox it would of scored higher? The score doesn't match the review or the game at all, its at least a 9.0, just look at the reader reviews all 9-10's . All other sites gave it a over a 9.0. Is GS giving ps3 lower scores this year to not upset the lemmings because they gave ps3 goty 2 years in a row and all exclusives last year a 9+? (just a thought) Lol at the conspiracy. While you're at it... Maybe GS has to cool off on the PS3 exclusives to not seem biased (You know, having handed out half a dozen AAAEs last year and AAAAE to MGS4 etc)
You are very wrong. Uncharted 2 sold 3.5 million copies. the 2 million was for the previous Stalker games. I like how you tried to attack the PS3 fanbase there...

I didn't like your poll options... I don't know what to vote :p It definitely is not a movie experience, so not THE perfect example and not really one of them either. And I don't want CGI, nor do I think ME2 stinks, its one of the best games this generation. But a movie experience, it is not. Metal Gear Solid 4, Heavy Rain and Uncharted 2 hold that title of best movie experience in a video game.
