Napolean total war is an amazing game.... Steam is just awesome. Why may I ask did you not read the box requirements before you bought it?? Oh and you don't have to download the whole game... You install it off the disk and then you have to download any updates and patches which the developer has released. Seen as these updates all make the game better and improve flaws and add new features I don't see why your'e annoyed.

It seems like you're annoyed with yourself because you didn't take the time to even read what you were buying but instead made an unimformed purchase....

The new content from one to sixty is great so far! Tons of stuff has been redone. All the old zones have had new quests etc. And old super annoying dungeons like wailing caverns have had entire sections cut of! Woot!

Also, it sounds like you might be confusing megabits (Mb) with megabytes (MB). Network speed is measured in bits, and there are 8 bits in 1 byte. So you're download speed of 2.5 MB (megabytes) makes sense if your connection is 18 Mbps (megabits per second). If you were getting the full 25 Mbps, then you would be downloading at a maximum speed of 3.125 MBps. Look out for that capital M.

This. Your net sounds about right.

I played it on pc with an ati 4870 and it worked great. Never crashed or anything. I really enjoyed the game. I think it's way underrated.

Right so I can get either for the same price. Which one is better? Do they have the same amount of content? Is episodes optimized more? Im running a core 2 duo @3.8ghz and an ati 4870.

Thanks

[QUOTE="Full-Throttle"]Why am I the only one that thinks 20 dollars a month is nothing. I mean realize how much new games are and 20 dollars is cheap, I find wow is a great alternative to buying new games and well nearly saves money in the long run.dman4795
for u maybe but for ppl struggling wit money it is alot of money thats a almost enough to afford a new game system

20 bucks is enough for a new games system?? Since when... Maybe is you buy a PS1... Its far cheaper than buying games normally. 14.99 US (thats like 2 hours work for me at minimum wage)... im a student with a big loan and I can afford it. If you can afford internet you should be able to afford this.

And to everybody who reckons blizz should drop the price. Blizzards revenue does not = $14.99 US * 10 million subscribers. Most of the subscribtions are in China where they use a differant pricing model. They buy a certain amount of minutes. This model makes ffar less than the 14.99 a month that we pay. So while i still think blizz makes a decent amount they are not rolling around in an unlimited supply like some people think.

I relly dont mind paying the small amount of $14.99 a month when i know it will support one of the great PC games developers.

Is your sound card a realtek device? If it is go into the audio manager and click the little file iconin the top right hand corner (Connector settings). Once in click thedisable front panel jack detection and it should work. Hopefully:) Worked for me in Vista and win 7.

Its a sad day for gaming when your hard disk gets the highest score....lol:p
