You cannot silence criticism. I happen to think Gears is a mediocre game, and I'll continue to say so. The real flamers the Gears-fanatics who can't accept that a) people have differing opinions and/or b) that Gears isn't the best thing since sliced bologna.

Well explain why u think it is mediocre, most people dont give a reason outside of oh the people online are jerks!, which is true, but not the games fault. Or oh chainsawing is cheap!, well not really just dont let them get close to u. Only problem is host advanage in player matches.
In 360's first 8 months it still got more than PS3 has gotten. It got GRAW, Oblivion, Fight Night 3, Battlefield MC, Prey, Saints Row, Dead Rising, Far Cry etc. AllPS3 has gotten so far areINFERIOR PORTS, Motorstorm, NGS,and Virtua Fighter.Plus it wouldnt matter ifthe 360did get a lot inits first 7-8 months, because it had NO COMPETITION! It was the only next-gen system out at the time.

this is a downloadable title you do know that. on top of that its been in dev for 6 months... i think for them to pull that off for a downloadable title in six months is pretty damn good. wait till its full release which it will look better no doubt bout that, to make final judgment bout the game..
Yea ur right this is pretty good for six months and just being a downloadable game, looks better than Warhawk. But the thing is it comes out early this Fall, so dont expect major improvements. Its not that the graphics are bad in that screenshot, but what I remember from the recenttrailerthey werent that impressive, but they will probably improve before release, especially if they did THIS in 6 months, so like 3 more months and that will do it.

I can deal with the 16 players and no vehicles, but the shooting through walls suck. so basically, there is no cover and it's just a run-and-gun game.
Basically. Though my idea of this game was that it was going to have like 30 players online, HUGE maps, vehicles and tanks with good graphics. It's pure chaos when an enemy tank is trying to blow you away when you're in a house. And I like chaos.
U guys dont know much do u? The shooting through wall can only be dene by equiping special bullets, on certain guns
