Here's a thought for those of us who have kids, if they break it, it's gone until they buy a replacement and they cannot opt to not replace the disc either. That'll happen maybe once and they will learn to take care of their things.

my 3 year old 60 GB FAT is played 10+ hours/week since launch and still going strong!!

danimal233

Me too! I use my 60GB PS3 even more since I now have the ability to stream Netflix content. Anyway, I think the "fat" system is sexier than the slim. I like the curves... ;)

@ Domino_slayer& Panzer_Zwei

What do you guys do all day (I'm hoping you work for the gaming industry)? If not, chill out. If you like the system great. If you don't, don't worry about it. I had both and enjoied them. There were games I liked on both systems and I really don't care which one had more games/support. You guys are missing the whole point of video games and that is entertainment! See a game, like a game, buy a game, enjoy a game. That's what it's all about. While I agree that Sega definately alienated their fanbase with so many hardware releases in such a short time period, I still enjoied the games & systems I had. Dropping hard earned cash on hardware that will be obsolete in a couple of years is just the nature of the beast.

I think that the biggest hinderance to video gamer communities is the fanboy factions game system companies create. The hardware has gotten so expensive, most gamers have to "choose a side" and therefore feel the need to defend their choice to the death. I love playing video games. I'm obviously not as interested inthe history aspectas you two are but hey, if that's what you're into...

you misspelled Jak and Daxter... noob mistake! =D

But honestly, I'd have to say Ratchet & Clank. That is the only one listed still making big budget releases.

I still have it up. Works fine except for occasional disk read problems, and it won't read any blue disks (I only own Way of the Samurai and Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 though for blue disks) I got my 360, Wii (which also gives me a Gamecube), 360, PS3 (also gives me a Playstation), and PS2 all hooked up. My Xbox and N64 are set up, I just have to unplug the cables for my PS2 and plug in one of their three. Snes and Genesis are in a box at the moment.Legolas_Katarn

I used to have a collection like that. Unfortunately, while I was in the process of moving, my parent's basement flooded and ruined just about all ofmy old school systems and games.Man it sucked! I had a Sega Master System, NES, Genesis, SNES, N64, Playstation, Saturn, and Dreamcast. All but the NES and Dreamcast were destroyed. I had about 15 games per system(33 for my Saturn)! It was a sad sad day! =(

I haven't played multi-player yet either.

I personally think it's harder than the original, and I was one of, hmm, maybe three kids that I knew back in the day, of all of my colleagues, family and friends that could beat Mike Tyson. I can still do it now, but I'm sure I'd get the crap beat out of me in the first few attempts.007-373-5963! hahaha...

I'm still stuck on Soda Popinski, but that's only because I stopped playing my Wii for three months over the summer, because I was so insanely busy with other things in my life. I'm a bit rusty. hahaha...

Dave_Bonds

Really?!? Wow. I could get to Tyson but never beat him without the game genie. I was looking at getting this for Christmas. I still have my NES and Mike Tyson's Punch Out. That and Contra are the only 2 games I really ever play on it anymore... =(
