@Grey_Eyed_Elf: I didnt say it was. Look at the other stuff on the list. There IS a lot of stuff on there weaker than a 3060.
The fact is, most gamers don't bother with upgrading their rigs. Between diminishing returns and lack of games demanding it. Most gamers just don't have much of a motivation to upgrade their GPUs.
I think you overestimate the power of a Mid-Range PC.
I'm sorry but what does that have to do with the point?
A mid range PC is a specification tier, its not a median calculation of what people have.
Simple point is the Switch 2 is weak compared to modern consoles and is nowhere near a mid range PC... How ever you want to take that information is completely up to you.
Mid Range is not a protected term and in teh context of how it was used by Firaxis employee it was pretty clear he was talking about your average PC used by gamers... which if I need remind you. Is actually quite a bit out of date.
Unless you are an afficiando, you are not likely to upgrade that often. Usually only when games demand it.
I can fully comprehend what's happening... And like every console launch there are people here like you who clearly can't.
From the article
This sentiment was echoed by Hogwarts Legacy head of technology Rob Nelson. While the current Switch has a version of the game, it’s heavily compromised with large loading zones and massive visual cutbacks, the new Switch 2 version is the same as PS5 and Xbox Series albeit on the go and quite attractive looking
What's happening is PR speak to hype a launch. To feed journalists to feed you with bold lies.
The Switch 2 version of Hogwarts being as PS5 and Series S... Yet the footage is PS4 levels.
The Fire axis dev was either miss quoted.. Which happens a lot, OR he's doing PR for his game the company that he's at a trade show with(Nintendo).
I swear you guys shouldn't be allowed to vote if you think the world is so black and white.
