It's ok. I'd give it a 4/10, you should ask for someone to tune it up a little or just make you a new one with that team.

It's a breath of fresh air among countless generic, gritty and realistic shooters.

PabloEscobar20

I agree, I've had my share gorey and serious post-apocalyptic shooters, thank you very much.

It looked to me a little bit TOO similiar to Borderlands, ya know? I watched the interview with that dude for it, and he said they wanted to do something not done before...well, um, what else is coming out now besides post-apocalyptic games?

The combat didn't look like Borderlands though (honestly it looked a little boring), so atleast that's refreshing. It doesn't look too good to me, I would expect more from the inventors of DOOM and Wolfenstein. But who knows? It may be the best game ever. :)

Your thoughts?

The game looks cool...but I still think its not GOTY worthy.

DranzarTypeF

Personally, after looking back on GOTY awards given out by Gamespot, IGN, etc. that it's definately worthy, plus, GTA IV got a 10(although I don't think it deserved it), and this just looks to me like a super-awesome beasted up GTA :P

I saw it in the recommended games section a couple of times, and it didn't look good, honstly. But as soon as I checked in and watched one video, I was hooked! Probably my most anticipated game ever, along with Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Personally, the hunting and multiplayer are gonna be my favorite aspects, I think. I always enjoyed hunting on or off horseback on Oblivion, with a bow :)

So what're you looking forward to?

1.Menu and Navigation: I think they're about equal in this sense, although I prefer the 360 just because I like it more overall :P 2.Online Store/DLC: I think that they both have pros and cons. For one thing, DLC's tend to come out earlier on X360 than on PS3. But 100 Microsoft points does not exactly equal 1$, so with big purchases, you kinda get ripped on the Xbox. Although I think the Xbox marketplace is more navigable, PS3 wins this one. 3.Gaming Network: Xbox 360. Hands down. No comparison. I can't even find my friends on the PS3, and it's much harder on PS3 to make a group chat than on Xbox, where you can start a party with a couple of buttons. 4.Quality of Games: Well, the mainstream of games right now is FPS, and most people play them, and I'd have to prefer the Xbox version of most of these games. PS3 has slightly better graphics, I think, I'll give them that. 5. Xbox controllers beat the crap out of the playstation controllers. Controller is more comfortable in your hands, it's smoother, the buttons tend to stick easier on PS3(that's just in mine and some others' experience, I may be wrong), and the Xbox controller is better for shooters. 6. Honestly, most people already have a DVD player before their PS3, and it is hooked up at the same time, so I think that the BluRay player goes pretty unused on the PS3. And I don't think Project Natal or the PS3's motion controller ideas are going anywhere. Hardcore gamesr will always prefer a controller(Heck, except for shooters, I'd prefer a SNES controller XD) 7. I think they're both fine here. Both offer compatibility with most mics, headsets, keyboards, etc. 8. Both pretty good with media, although PS3 may be a little bit better. 9. IMO, the exclusive titles of the X360(Halo) are much better than the PS3's(God of War). Overall: Xbox is a much better and easier to use system, where you can just hop on, start a game, and talk to your friends in a matter of seconds. Hope this helped a little :D :D

Well, I dunno... For one, It would suck to recount epic halo battles if he looked really stupid and ugly, although I've always imagined him as looking like the default John Shepard from Mass Effect 1. lol
