I see no reason to currently upgrade from XP. Why put the cart before the horse? I will probably upgrade in a year or two after the bugs are worked out, more software is developed for it, and I can afford new DirectX 10 gear.

Looks like the Wii isn't going to be as consumer friendly as I thought. 60 bucks for one controller is outrageous. Especially since I have 4 children. The final cost of a Wii, 3 xtra controllers, and memory card is only about 20 dollars less than an xbox 360 w/20gb hd and 3 xtra wired controllers. Since I already have the hd tv I think microsoft gets my dollars for xmas this year.
