Old school gamer getting up to date!

Finally... After holding out for... 3 years? I have sold my old XBOX console and going for the full 360 experience! But why go for the 360, are you all asking? Actually, there are several reasons... And they go as follows:

1. I already own several XBOX games, a lot of which I didn't finish or just enjoy playing over and over again... Gotta love backward compatibility!

2. The price! The PS3 is still (at least in Canada) a lot more expensive...

3. The exclusive games! I wouldn't want a next gen console without Dead Rising, Gears of War, Ninja Gaiden II, Fable II, Halo III... and they're nowhere to be found on the PS3 as of yet...

I've considered getting a Wii console also, but I don't know if it's just me, but I get the feeling that after the novelty factor has wore off, I'll probably won't be interrested anymore at playing tennis with a remote control... I think that the console has a lot of innovative ideas, but there is still a lot of work to be done before I have a serious interest in investing in this console...

Anyway, it's good to be in the 21st century..!

Maybe, just maybe....

Hello again,

Boy, it's been a while since my last post, but hey, I am pretty lazy when you get right down to it... Am I going to get a ticket if I don't post? Nope... Will I get injured? Nah... So what's the rush then?

Anyway, I just wanted to point out that it seems a couple of games are scheduled to come out soon which grabbed my attention: Gray Matter and A Vampyre Story. If you're into adventure gaming, check them out on Gamespot. I have very high expectations and am very impressed with the concepts and the art presented so far, I just think that we could have 2 instant classics released in Q1 2008!

Is there a new interest for adventure games growing in the industry? Is this some kind of test by the marketing groups to see if these games will sell? Time will tell...

Hi and welcome to my page!

First thing I'd like to get off my chest, why aren't there more innovative, funny and challenging adventure games? This is the best type of game, the most immersive, but somehow, the developpers fail to stimulate the mind as they should...!

Seems things are changing though, with Dreamfall comming out and games like Indigo Prophecy... Let's keep hope alive!

I'm still hanging on my classics though....
