One Thing Leads to Another

I wanted to complete one task. In the process I completed 2 additional tasks. This proves that one thing does lead to another and/or the quest to complete one task, leads to completing many tasks. I was thirsty so I went to get a drink. On the way, I took a used hand towel to the laundry room. The door knob to the laundry room always sticks when you turn it, so I decided to remedy that. I got a screw driver and removed the doorknob to see what was sticking. There was old graphite goo in there that was dried up. I did not have any WD-40 or other lubricant, so I used some glass cleaner to clean it up. It fixed it. The door knob does not stick anymore. With the glass cleaner still in my hand, I decided to clean the mirror in the bathroom b/c I knew it was dirty. I cleaned the mirror and the counter. I thought about cleaning the bathtub too, but I decided not to. Finally, I went back to the kitchen to get my drink and thought it was odd that it took me so long to get my drink of Vault.

Avril Lavigne Concert!

It was totally awesome! Had some trouble getting there though. My friends, Kelli and Kristin, were late meeting me at my house, but they couldn't avoid that. We took my mom's van and we got 40 min away when the electrical systems started going haywire, so we turned around and went back home to get my car. Then we hit the road again. By that time we had just enough time to make it to the concert before Avril's set time. Long 2 hour drive, stopped to get some fast food. And we continued on. We got there just in time to find a place to park, get in the amphitheatre, find our seats and settle down. Music started playing (Skater Boi was the opening song). We stood up and screamed and two guys and a girl were in front of us and they each gave me a high five. I lost my normal pitch of voice during the first song, I yelled so loud. So, I had to sing, and speak, really low or really high. I stuck with the low pitch. The concert was soo AWESOME!!! Only one song she was a little off key, but man when she hit the high notes, it was awesome. She played guitar in some songs, she played the piano, and near the end she played the drums (I knew she would but Kelli didn't know she could play the drums). I had really good seats, and Kelli and Kristin commended me for it. Even though she only played 1.5 hours, it was totally worth the 2 hour drive. Then we bought some stuff. I bought a $30 dollar T-shirt (bad economic decision, I know, but it's the fact that I bought it at Avril's concert! But I'm gonna wear it as much as I can until I can't wear it anymore, b/c I'm gonna get my 30 bucks worth out of it! LOL.) I wanted to stand and wait to see Avril to leave so maybe I could get an autograph, but I decided to head home since I had school the next day. I took about 50 pictures and only 25 good ones came out. But I'll post them after I edit them. It was totally cool! Can't wait to see her again someday!! They allowed a camera in so here is a blend of pics I took: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v438/GuitarMn07/celebs/avrilconcert.jpg

Avril Lavigne

3 hours until I leave to see the talented Lavigne. Currently cleaning my van so my cronies won't be all squished up in my Eclipse. Long 2 1/2 hour drive... but it'll be worth it. Woo-Hoo!

Banner Image

Wow! I discovered that you can put up a banner and a personal portrait. In my banner montage, going from left to right, there is my old eclipse, a pic of me holding my guitar, a pool table, a golden eagle, the inside of my computer, me standing behind a rocket ship, my current eclipse (calypso), and the University Center at the university I attend.
