because mgs has been on other consoles before, and since the ps3s arent selling so well including the most important software sales. I think that a mgs4 for the 360 isnt so far fetched

According to an Xbox fan website (the same one that is sure MS are developing a 360 motion sensing controller), a Konami rep has stated straight up that MGS 4 is already in production for the Xbox 360 and will hit the shelves 12 to 14 months after the PS3 version is released. After hearing this, they contacted the MS PR team and got a wordy response back instead of the usual 'we don't respond to rumors', so they think they have some kind of further weighting behind their 'confirmation' from Konami.
