Wasn´t much of a surprise yesterday to see Call of Duty: Black Ops getting a raving review for what, to be honest, doesn´t really look any different to the previous games.

OK - Why change a winning formula... But c´mon, it's the same dish with new decoration... The zombies are back; the weapons are different but the core game mechanics are the same - but the brain in neutral and the trigger finger on overdrive... yaawn.

They dissed Medal of Honor; trounced Fable 3 for being the same as Fable 2 (so its bad with Fable, good with COD?), yet surprisingly when faced with the best paid, I mean known franchise on the XBOX, they give it a whopping 9 out of 10.

Will probably wait til the hysteria (and prices) drop a little before seeking out a second hand copy of this one!

Again, looks like 2010 is a year of disappointments in the long run for gaming ;o(
