There are a few things that really get to me, and one of them being is the underrating of great video games and the overrating of mediocre quality games or simply good games. There are many so I'll name some from a small list from both sides, games like the masterfull Starcraft was rated 9.1 by gamespot while Zelda: Ocarina of Time got a 10, Resident Evil 2  was rated 8.9 for both the N64 and PS formats! Metal Gear Solid was rated a 8.5 by Gamespot!!!! while Banjo-Tooie got a 9.6?! Marvel vs. Capcom 2 got a 7.0, seriously a 7.0? Is there anything wrong with this picture? or is it just me? I realize that a opinion is a opinion but there are limits to those opinions, when those games I just named are rated soo low you must only suspect something is not right with Gamespot, but in all respect to Gamespot if that makes sense.

All these new consoles are flooding the market with overatted software and hefty console costs. I have loved playstation for years and that also includes everything sony, electronics and ect., but does sony still have that untarnished legendary console manufacturer title? evidently not as much as you would think so. The PS3 so far in my opinion has been the biggest let down since Spider-Man 3. The titles are mediocre with 1 or 2 that i can say are descent to good, I have no idea what people are saying about scrolls or resistance, they are good games, that's it. If you give a cracker to a starving person, they'll say it was the greatest cracker they have ever have, that point being made, the new X-Box 360 is of mediocre quality with 3 or 4 titles that are descent to good. Now the Wii, perhaps no other console out there has the outlooks of winning the console wars in the long run like the Wii, that is mostly due to low console costs as well as top notch software liscensing. I have played video games for my whole life and I believe I am at liberty to speak freely about these new consoles and games, Im sick of buying these new consoles and 50 dolllar games for a average experience, screw that! I'm not buying a game for CG or flashy graphics (even though I dont mind it), It must have a unique idea and a fantastic gaming experience. Finally in this whole tyraid I have to mention the Sega Dreamcast,  there has never been a system that is as underrated and mis-understood, the company Sega just didn't care for the long run success of the Dreamcast and I scoff at them for that, almost the best system ever made, almost.
