Seems like I might not get a wii at launch after all

Ive been craving to get the wii ever since e3 06' and my excitment recently has grown beyond human boundries ( ok not that far ), but very much excited . Howeover there was only one day to pre-order it, and that was october 29th, which I had no clue that there was a pre-order going on by that time, but I finally decided to pre-order the wii on monday, but I was told that my local Ebgames was not taking any more pre-orders But that there were going to bring more units in whomever, but much to my demise I called again today, and the guy who h ad told my freind that was lying So now theres no possible way to get the wii, because there aren't bringing any more wii's to my countrie ... the sad truth .

It's been almost 3 months since ive changed my forum signature, but ive finally done it, and im acctually pleased with it . I could have made the text a little bit better, but I don't excactly catch on with the blending thing .

Something has hit me hard ... something has touched me, but forget about whatever that is ive just got to say im doing great at school . My spanish grade average rose up from a 45% to a 71% ( :) ) And im finishing all my homework in school, and before tutory . And my grade average is also up, but at the risk of studying hard and finishing everything I barely have any time to play games anymore ( 1-2 hours is sad ), but I guess it will all be worth while at the end ... Hopefully :?

Hello, and welcome to GunslingerMan's 2006 journal edition . Sry for those who had to wait a month to get a glimps into my life, but it was christmas and that time of holiday came to take a break ... but now my journal is up and running so let's get moving .

I have gotten the urge to get into pc gaming since I was a baby ( ok a year ago ) I wan't to own all those interesting peaces such as Half-Life 2, the movies, the sims 2 and F.E.A.R . Unfortunetly my laptop can't handle them, neither can a add a graphics card to my laptop . With that said im negotiating wether to get another laptop that sort of seems interesting for me, and it has a whoping 512 mb ram capacity which seems pretty big . On saturday im going back to comp u.s.a and see what I can resolve cause I wan't to play Half-Life 2 * Weeep smiley *

Last Friday I got an unexpected advanced super duper Christmas gift, which was DDRE2 . I got addicted to it and played for 3 hours straight, and guess what * what * I lost 3 pounds, and you know what else * what * I left my air conditioner on while I played :lol: ok it's hot in my countrie it doesn't snow at this time of the year . But hey since then iv'e lost well over 5 pounds and have runned over 5 miles in Workout mode . PS : Dance Master Mode is a bits once you get over stage 40 for us DDR beginners . 2nd PS : Sorry for not posting since like 2 weeks on my journal iv'e been busy with school and all Hell I've barely been much on GS ( only 50 post's in one week ) But ill make up for it .

If I don't Ace my next spanish exam I don't know what im going to do .

  Since the beginning of school I have been stumbling on Spanish and now im getting closer to getting my final exam . Problem Is if I don't get an A there is no way of getting back on track, it's so frustrating when I know I am not that good in Spanish and as much as I study I might now be able to accomplish what I am setting my goal to . Weird thing is that I'm Latino who speaks Spanish 75% of the time, and lives in a Spanish countries and yet Spanish is the class in which my Avg% is the lowest :lol:

Nintendo DS or LCD/HDTV ... tough choice .

 I've been trailing for a month now trying to decide what to ask for Christmas . At first I wanted the DS for all those great games, so great indeed ... right . No, but there are certainly some games that I really want that I can only find on the DS . But then after hearing so many stuff about that next game games ( Rev, and PS3 ) may only look good on an LCD/HDTV. Note : The LCD TV that I want is not the one on the pic . I started to think to myself I must get an LCD/HDTV if I want to play 'em . Plus my TV isn't so gaming friendly either . The thing is that the TV's are alot of money, I can afford it, but im just saying . So for now I am heading more towards the .... DS, LCD TV there I go again . Guess ill have to think awhile more before making my verdict .

Wo what the hell happend to Final Fantasy ?

Ok so after days of playing Dragon Quest 8 I finally decided to play the Final Fantasy XII demo . And im shocked at how the game plays this time around . I had this vision of how Final Fantasy XII would play, but the vision was more like ... I'm not going to say it :oops: Anywase when I first started to play it I was like WTF is this, am I playing an offline MMORPG ? Ok so the graphics are incredible, and the music without Nobuo is actually great . But the gameplay just felt weird for an Final Fantasy game . I'm not saying that it's bad, that's not the case it is surprisingly good, but again it just isn't Final Fantasy without the turned based system, but it isn't something really new cough * Final Fantasy XI * cough 

Got the chance to play the xbox 360 .

Yesterday while picking up my copie of Dragon Quest VIII, I was left to wait nearly 20 minutes before I could was attended on the counter . So I noticed a lonely xbox 360, and what the heck, I said . At first I played Call of Duty 2, and it looked good . Graphically it looked decent, but really didn't Wow me . Then I played Kameo, and it looked good as well . The gameplay felt solid, and I was shocked went I went into this area where there was these massive amount of enemies in just one screen . I wasn't shocked by the graphics, but compared to current Gen games it does look better ... except Resident Evil 4 ;) Bottom line playing the 360 won't make me buy a 360, but it will make me wasn't to play it when I go back to my local Ebgames .

I hate waiting an extra day or 2 for games ...

Today was going to be the day that I picked up my most anticipated game of the year ; Dragon Quest 8 . As luck may has it my local ebgames said that it might be arriving tomorrow . That might isn't exactly the response I was hoping for . That might made me wait a whole week for virtua tennis : world tour, that might made me wait 3 more days for shadow of the colossus ... * ah *But as I learned with my memory card patience is a virtue ... MUST HAVE DRAGON QUEST 8 NOW :!:
