The PS3 screens, as usual, are with the Limited RGB setting. If someone would turn RGB to Full Range in the PS3 display settings before doing these tests, the colors would be more vivid.
I recreated the GTA4 pic on my own Samsung HDTV and on my own PS3. My picture is WAY better then the screenshot thats posted. My tv is brighter and sharper than the screenshot gamespot uses. Gamespot needs to give a videophile some time with each console on the same TV to optimise the TV settings for each console to get the best picture possible.
Looks like the PS3 gets the edge this time, but does it even matter? When the games are being played you dont notice any of this crap because you should be too busy having fun. The games pretty much look the same on each console and are just as fun on either console.
