Yup thats right, its now a reality.

Me and my friend are on the list, thats the good news, bad news is there will be no scholarship, our study for the next 2-3 years will be all on our own expenses.

I have my fears now for studying on the US because it means alot of money is needed, its way too faraway from my home country, any mistake, any failure on any semester would cost me alot of money, expensive apartments there to rent, expensive Gasoline prices to fill any kind of car....etc.

However, it's America, one of the biggest and most exciting places to live and enjoy, the experience there gonna be exceptional, new language, new culture, new people to talk to, alot of places I've always wanted to go and see and a big chance of Anne Hathaway date :P

So Im torn apart and there is no much time to think about it, just wanted to share my feelings about it with you guys :)

TOFEL test.

Went very well for a first timer :P the test was web-based, it consisted of four different tests, reading, listening, speaking and writing.

Reading test was almost 2 hours long, they gave us 6 subjects to read about, each test had a time limit of 20 minutes to read and answer the questions of each specific reading test, I thought it was the easiest test but I was wrong.

I got 14/30 lol.

Second part was listening and it took about 40M-1 hour don't know exactly but it was a bit easier, there were 4 or maybe 5 subjects to listen to and answer the subject's questions.

I got 17/30.

Speaking test was a surprise for me of the score, there were six questions, the questions becomes harder after each two questions passed.

I got 18/30.

Writing test had two kinds of writing, an essay and a compare and contrast subject.

I got 18/30.

So yea I was a bit good, total = 67/120 paper based test equivalent of 517/800.

To put it into perspective, alot of universities accept from 60-90 web-based and 500 to 550 paper based.

So Im on the safe side now, but Im gonna try again for a better score.
