WAY LONG TIME, no talk.

Haha, I doubt anyone will even read this.

Well here's what's up.

Yes, I'm STILL computer-less. (Except the few times I hijack my sister's laptop)

Yes, I'm STILL online on the Wii.

Yes, I FINALLY have a 360.

Yes, I have Halo 3.

Yes, I have Brawl.

Well that covers the basics. Haha.

Let's see.

Games:

As I said, I bought a 360. In January, more specifically. We moved and now the router isn't in my room, so I'm not on as much as I should be, but still a good amount.

I have Halo 3 (Finally got all the achievements on March 9th, great timing, huh?) and Gears of War that I play online, but I have a few XBLA games and Tony Hawk.

I bought an Arcade version, so no harddrive right now. But I'll get one by April hopefully.

I got my Wii here still.

I FINALLY bought a new game for it in February. Zack and Wiki actually. It's ok, 7/10. VERY challenging.

And of course, Brawl occupies my time mostly.

I have all the characters, all the maps, beat with everyone on classic, beat with everyone on all-star, beat 15 minute brawl, beat Subspace, beat 100 man once, and I'm working on Boss Battles right now. So I'd say about 7 challenges left.

Well that's really all in my gaming life. I haven't played much. I bought a few VC games like Paper Mario, which was GREAT 9/10.

But nothing huge.

I'm looking forward to Summer for some money to start up my game buying again.

-Super Mario Galaxy

-Mario Kart Wii

-Rock Band

-Bioshock

And a few others.

But otherwise, nothing much.

Yo, long time no see. High School=tons of homework. So heres what's cracka lackin w/ me lately. LoZ:TP ownz! 60 hours of great gameplay, whoever owns a Wii and doesn't have TP...get it! I got a ton of VC games, including LoZ: ALttP, LoZ: OoT, Super Mario World, and Military Madness (which are all great!). I bought various games such as Rainbow Six 3, Fable, and Crazy Taxi: HR which are cool too. I never got a 360, which Im glad 4 because the Elite is coming out, and I'll get that. I got GoW , so as soon as I get my 360 I'm game ready. I also remade a Myspace: www.myspace.com/abackyardmessiah so if you have one send me a friend request saying you're from GS (say you're screen name too). I'm not blogging much on here as you can see, but I'm posting more frequently. And because of the glitchy Wii online (my computer fried over Winter Break) it gets annoying having to type with the Wii. So if you want to talk I answer more on Myspace because only 50% of the time i cant get in... so thats all 4 now L8RZ

My friend HDShadow, found here: http://www.gamespot.com/pages/profile/index.php?user=HDShadow, is having trouble with his account, he is not banned, but he cannot post in most boards. "You do not have access to post in this thread/topic" is showing up, he checked his moderation history but there are no recent moderations are shown and all the past moderations have been dealt with. He can post in some boards, but occasionally he can't see threads, topics, or specific topic pages, can't PM users sometimes, or can't comment on blogs. He has also tried to e-mail customer support but he hasn't received an answer yet and it has been 2 weeks. If the moderators can help it will be great :). Thanks in advance.

Well, I guess some of you guys might have seen my profile being banned a bit back. The funny thing is, all over your profile it says, "THIS USER IS BANNED, NO CONTINUES, YOU ARE DEAD, user name: BANLAHONES (or something like that). Guess what, I got a continue. Well kind of. For awhile now my profile has been somewhat suspended I think. I can't access some topis pages, or topics all together, I can't look at some of my friends profiles, I can't get into some of my videos, I ccan't even view comments on my own blog.  So, its been a bit after Wii launch. I have it. Played with it for a decent amount of time. Here's what I think.

Games: The games are great on the Wii. You cna check out the review I have for Rayman. But...I really think a story game is needed as a companion with a new Wii. I haven't spent as much time with the Wii as I really wanted because I didn't have a game with actual depth. Of course Zelda should be the perfect game to get with this. Otherwise, the Virtual Consle games will keep you busy for a bit. The selection for Virtual Console right now mostly sucks. In fact many games are already a rip-off.  Especially the NES games.

NES

I'm not saying all of them are. But you'll know which ones. Like the sports games. Or Donkey Kong or Super Mario Bros. Unless you absolutely never played old school Mario. Then don't get it. But Zelda is worth it if you haven't played it. So besides Wario Woods or Solomon's Key for NES I think Zelda is the only one worth it. As of now.

Not much to say about SNES because they're only two games. F-Zero and SimCity. Of course these games are much fun. Right now F-Zero has been getting much praise, so I would recommend that. And so is SimCity, but SimCity is either a love or hate game. So beware of this one.

Here's how my friend and I got it.

4:45 P.M: We go to Wal-Mart but it turns out we were too late, Wal-Mart only had 18, 2 on raincheck, and 18 people were already outside.

4:50 P.M: We go to Best Buy, 20 people are already lined up. I ask the people inside how many they are getting, they say 15 for sure but they are guessing about 50-60 in stock. And tis one girl in line said she seen about 30 inside in a stock room. So we line up.

5:30 P.M: Buy food and drinks to last us through the night, and set up sleeping bags with chairs.

7:00 P.M: 8 more people lined up now the line starts to get long.

10:00 P.M: We get bored, as do the guys ahead of us, so they start to burn the sidewalk with a lighter and hairspray. He got kicked out of line, that sucked because he was cool and gave us stuff to do. And he had a Halo 2 hoodie!

12:00 A.M: Employees still inside. All the people in line want Wii's now!!!

2:00 A.M: Shopping cart wars, and kicking around a bottle in the parking lot.

4:00 A.M: Freezing, super freezing. Nothing to do, so we walked over to Wal-Mart (the dudes in front of us saved our spot).

6:00 A.M: Everyone is expecting tickets soon, but everyone gets disappointed fast.

8:00 A.M: No tickets yet, line extends 20 more people. Everyone is mad, cold, and tired.

8:30 A.M: Employees announce that tickets will be given out soon.

8:40 A.M: Tickets are handed out. Everyone in line is guaranteed a Wii.

9:03 A.M: Doors open, everything is layed out nicely.

9:15 A.M: I have all my stuff, I'm super excited, and I hurry off to get my friend with his console so we can get Wii Sports up at my house.

9:30: FINALLY (caps) it is here!!!

Long night...and with school tomorrow. I'm too tired.

Well Wii launch is almost here. but seeing as my grades suck and progress reports come out next week, I'm doubting a launch buy, but if by some miracle I got better grades here's my plan.

• My friend and I go to Wal-Mart at 6-8 P.M
• Stand and make a line
• And by 12:01 check to see if we acheived a Wii
• If not stay up all night (friend staying over the night)
• at 4:30 walk over to Target, and stand in line there.

so im almost guaranteed a wii as long as i can get good grades :?

Yes! I have found a place that preorders for the Wii later this week and that is known by very little people. There is a game place about 8 miles from my house that sells games for very cheap and virtually no one knows about it. When I went in their earlier today there was no one in their except the register dude. The only bad side is that you have to have all the money down to pre-order it. And it's a really good place for a lot of games. If you need an old game or skin for your console you can go up and tell them what you want and they special order it for an extra bit of a fee, but hey this is how I can get my Bomberman Generation I've been looking for.  Of course that didn't stop me from buying Splinter Cell ($2.99) and Splinter Cell: Pandora's Tomorrow ($4.99). So add those to my list of games to complete. And I got my eye on a DOA Ultimate package for $9.99 there.

Team SWAT on Halo 2 is ranked! Wow....I would've never played this gametype again if it wasn't for the rankage. I am a level 7 so far working with Bansheesdie to get up to level 5. This will be interesting to see modders get an even crazier level with no shield this time. Can anyone "Reverse Ownage to modders" (hopefully). As for every other gametype I have not been modded or standbyed in about 4 months. Of course I have been reported for cheapting by poor sports who sucked so bad they couldn't get into the base. Ah well....I don't have a lot of wins so Bungie knows I don't cheat :lol:.

 Jet Set Radio Future isn't too good. It's great in all but on X-Play's top 10 game countdown is scored #9 on the list. I really don't like it that much as top 10 material (I might make a top 10 list for my systems right before I pick up their next-gen cousins so expect a GC top 10 from me around Wii Launch). Of course it is addictive. and for $2.99 at EB Games this was a great bargain. But I am on Chapter 3 of 9 chapters so I should be done with it by next Friday. And then I'm going to start Half-Life 2 to get my friend to shut up about me not even have really playing it yet.

And for the MNU. I will not renovate the union for awhile. I plan on renovating the MNU when I get the Wii because my computer is completely screwed up and I can use the web browser on the Wii to remake the MNU instead. And expect an almost all new officer lineup on the MNU withi the remake also, unless I think you've been a lot of help.

It's been awhile since my last blog so I made a new one with everything in it. Here it is:

And im trying to save up miney for a 360 by the end of the year, and by Spring of 2007 i hope to have and ipod (80 gigs!)

 

School....ugh...I'm already tired of it. But already 2 months in school's going by pretty fast. So far I read "Peace Like a River" by Leif Enger, "Lord of the Flies" by William Golding, "Of Mice and Men" by John Steinbeck, and am currently reading "Catch 22" by Joesph Heller. And in Science for the Science Expo (basically science fair) my friend and I are making an air purification system (like those Oreck infomercials). And in Robotics I got my teacher to consider buying a Wii :).
