The German one includes console hardware too. If you want to include PC hardware and mobile phones too, I don't mind :lol: Let me remind you that virtually all households in both countries have a PC and own a mobile phone, and Japan's population is 130 million while Germany's is 80 million

i dont think so there is nothing metioned about hardware, also germany has 100 million mobile phones while japan has only 120 million in its population http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_number_of_mobile_phones_in_use and the japanese might have more pcs but what i meant is that german pc gamer might upgrade their machines for gaming. They are spending more on hardware than japanese.

I'm not "defending" Japan, I'm stating the facts. You have to be Japanese to defend Japan now? I'm not even German, so why should I "defend" Germany?

I don't care about either. If you're going to have country warz do it elsewhere, this is System Wars, and you have to argue with facts, not with "you're not Japanese, so you're not allowed to say anything pro-Japanese".

no they dont, the data clearly shows it. I also could argue since pc games are second in sales in germany, there are even more sales in the download sector and even more in the pirating sector. I buy used games too and we have gamestops too here. Also people who buy used games tend to sell or trade their used games for other used games. Youre some kind of Japanophile who is sure is white and is from german ancestry like all americans.

Some have that opinion just like some say the opposite. Personally I would think japan has the highest standards with such a high work ethic.
