i dont think so there is nothing metioned about hardware, also germany has 100 million mobile phones while japan has only 120 million in its population http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_number_of_mobile_phones_in_use and the japanese might have more pcs but what i meant is that german pc gamer might upgrade their machines for gaming. They are spending more on hardware than japanese. The German one includes console hardware too. If you want to include PC hardware and mobile phones too, I don't mind  Let me remind you that virtually all households in both countries have a PC and own a mobile phone, and Japan's population is 130 million while Germany's is 80 million

I'm not "defending" Japan, I'm stating the facts. You have to be Japanese to defend Japan now? I'm not even German, so why should I "defend" Germany?[QUOTE="HFkami"] so youre asian??? What chinese, korean or thai??? And you defend japan tough your ancestors are not japanese???My main point was youre japanophille doesnt matter where you from.. so now lets come to the point of used games its pointless fact, it doesnt bring money to the devolopers so i just ignore your fact cuz i cant proof you wrong but you cant proof me wrong as well. There are no specific data on every used game in every country like germany in comparison to japan, just like with downloading.Eponique
I don't care about either. If you're going to have country warz do it elsewhere, this is System Wars, and you have to argue with facts, not with "you're not Japanese, so you're not allowed to say anything pro-Japanese".
Germany's gaming industry value at €1.937 ($2.46 billion) billion in 2010
Japan's gaming industry value at $5.9 billion in 2010
Now take your nationalist crap elsewhere.
**The drop marks the third year in a row of Japanese video game retail decline. Falling hardware revenues drove the 2010 decline** so the japanese article is hardware too?? But the german isnt?? But if it includes hardware in both articles its obviously that germany that has a large PC Market is missing PC hardware and mobile phones in its data.german ancestry makes 16% of all americans, they are higher than blacks which are probably from many other west african countries if you could track it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_American[QUOTE="HFkami"][QUOTE="HavocV3"]

and it boils down to a completely ignorant individual trying to call a group of 300 million people ignorant. you must not be sleeping too well at night if you're coming to SW to throw this ethnicity horse **** around.

That bag you have? Put it down and stop using it.
racistno they dont, the data clearly shows it. I also could argue since pc games are second in sales in germany, there are even more sales in the download sector and even more in the pirating sector. I buy used games too and we have gamestops too here. Also people who buy used games tend to sell or trade their used games for other used games. Youre some kind of Japanophile who is sure is white and is from german ancestry like all americans.[QUOTE="HFkami"][QUOTE="Eponique"]Japan has a massive second hand market. The second hand market is about the same size as the first hand (?) market. That's why Japanese software sales are low. (http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=27535512&postcount=278) But in YTD, Japan beats Germany and is about the same size as the UK.HavocV3

german ancestry makes 16% of all americans, they are higher than blacks which are probably from many other west african countries if you could track it and some mixed black people have european ancestry as well. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_American[QUOTE="AzatiS"][QUOTE="g0ddyX"]Europe always had high standards! :P Some have that opinion just like some say the opposite. Personally I would think japan has the highest standards with such a high work ethic.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_net_exportshttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_current_account_balancehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_(nominal)_per_capitahttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prussian_virtues there are many european countries who have a high work ethic too but it seems like americans doesnt care where their ancestors came from.European having better standards? Since when!?
