i am looking for a new mmo to try over the summer while i am waiting for warhammer to come out.
i have played eq, daoc, and most currently wow, all three of which i love, but i get bored easily and always need something new. my friend and i were considering either lotro or eq2. which of these would be a better choice?
sorry to keep bugging everyone but ive encountered another problem. while trying to figure out a way to fix the dilema with demos, i switched the windows live id associated with my gamertag to my dad's. since i have a child account, in order to try and change family settings, i had to always enter my dads windows live id account. but now that that windwos live account is the one linked to my gamertag, it no longer works as the parent windows live id, and i cannot edit any settings. even changing the windows live id associated with my gamertag requires the parent windows id. how can i solve this problem short of just making a brand new gamertag?
a. is there a way i could "upgrade" my account so to speak
b. is there a way to gain permission to download this content. i mean with my child account i can play halo, cod 4, gta 4 and other mature games why cant i download a demo?
I am having trouble with the xbox live marketplace. For some reason, whenever I try to download a Mature Rated Demo it denies me, saying that my account isnt permitted to download content with that rating. However, I have my family settings set so that I can play all ratings of games and my xbox live account is set so that i can download all content. it is getting very frustrating. the windows live id that i have hooked to my gamertag is for a minor (im 16) so i tried switching the windows live id associated with my gamertag to my dad's but it still would not let me download the content. what do i do?
