SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 2

Another smash hit from the SOCOM folks.  This one is a bit different than the first -- this one is situated in one country, rather than the globe-trotting first title.  However, the ability to get black market weapons based on your Local Influence puts a nice twist to the game (nothing is more amusing than trying to complete a mission with a repeating crossbow!)  An awesome game!

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Essentials (PSP)

First, I really enjoyed playing this game.  The controls were fine, and I tend to like sneaking around killing bad guys, so the genre was appealing. I haven't played any of the prior Splinter Cell titles, but the flash-back storyline filled in the gaps and told me a little about Sam's history.  The downside to the game was the length.  There are a number of missions, but once I got a hang of the game, it was pretty easy.  I basically completed the entire thing in one weekend, which really disappointed me.  Sure, a few of the missions I had to do several times to complete, but I was disappointed when I was finished.  I really wanted more.  Compared with the length of time I played the two PSP SOCOM titles, this one came up short.  A great game, I just wish there was more of it!

SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo

I finished this game a while ago, and I just had to say this was one of the best games for the PSP that I've ever played.  The controls are natural, the story line is engaging, and the missions are tough (but not too tough).  I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this to anyone who likes modern shooters.
