Alright, well it looks like im getting a PS3 foresure. Starting July 10th, tommorrow, the PS3 is going to have $100 price drop. I'm going to pick it up less than 2 weeks from now.Heres my story.

I went over to a friends house about 5-6 years ago for his birthday party. At this point the Xbox was not out yet. We played Onimusha (original). I saw the graphics and said this is something I have to get. I only paid $125 for my PS2. My parents payed about $250 and my sister paid $125. I sold the idea to my parents by telling them that is was also a DVD player. I never really got into the PS2, only owning 4 games for it in total. We owned Dark Cloud (my sisters game), NHL 2001, Onimusha and of course one of my favourite games of all time - Final Fantasy X. With that said, I stood strong for Sony. Several months later the Xbox would come out, introducing one of the bestfranchises ever concieved, changing the way we play first person shooters today, Halo: Combat Evolved.Never played it, but I did trash it anyways.People were praising it, and all I could say was that thePlaystationhas Final Fantasy, Metal Gear Solid,Socom, Grand Turismo and at the time Grand Theft Auto.Even though these are great franchises, they had nothing on Halo. I would eventually playHalo, where2 weeks later I bought it. The original Xbox had a good run, it had a ton of good games, but it didn't sell nearly as well as the Playstation that I eventually traded inin order to get some moreXbox games. From there I went to the PC so I could play some RTS' and games that did not lag! PC didn't lst very long though, only about 1 year before I went out and bought an Xbox 360 last summer.

Now I am going to purchase a PS3 one year after I got my Xbox 360. Its not because I feel that I made a mistake and that the Playstation is better, but its because I have the money to do so, I want a Blue-Ray player, and there are some games that I want for it.
