Halo2Marine's forum posts
Hello Gamespot community, I am conducting a statistics study to prove or disprove the claim that over 90% of the teenage population in the U.S. use Facebook.
Please, only respond to the poll provided if you are between the ages of 13-19 and live in the U.S.
Comments and suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks!
[QUOTE="Halo2Marine"]Based on your spelling and grammar skills I would say that you are a PS3 fanboy 12 year old that owns neither of the games and is just coming to the 360 forum to get attention.
I would post an insulting link but I am a better person than that.
P.S. ^^the above statement is false.

OK, I would first like to start off my point by mostly agreeing with you. I agree that there are far too many trash talkers and all together no-bodies that play these games and call people bad names because they can't do it in real life because someone like me would be there to punch their front 8 teeth out.
On my second note I must disagree with you. I don't believe that trash talkers in a way ruin a game. It personally gets me pumped up to beat them even more than I already am. I heard from one person one time that his friend was going into therapy because people were calling him noob to much. I told him that his friend must have needed help in the first place. I personally shrug off comments like this (and if I don't I trash talk back)
My advice to you would be to try and learn to take it in stride. If you can't and you know that you are better than the trash talker report him and ask him to play you 1v1 to see who is really better. Most of these type of people don't have the balls to back up their talk so they will turn you down. That's when you unleash your fury. If they do accept and you start owning them they will probably quit. The thing to do now would be to send them a TYPED message (so they can read what it says instead of just not listening to it) unleashing your fury.
I have used all of the above techinques, they work.
I never said that I lagged in Halo 2. The question was since I don't lag was it on dedicated servers. Apparently the answer is no it is not(I did research myself). I only said thatI lagged on GoW, don't say you don't because everyone does,(some major programming flaw or something...idk) it is mainly in the form of bulletlag on GoW.
In Halo 2, was the online multiplayer run on dedicated servers or not? Because I just read on another site that Halo 3 will not have dedicated servers and if there is one thing I don't want its a laggy multiplayer like GoW (I hate the constant lag in that game with an angry passion).
