It's a Bird, it's a Plane, NO It's the Wii Remote!

I finally give in and buy a Nintendo Wii. I know, I know, where have I been? Its been out for ages!

Well I'm somewhat confused. On the one hand, the Wii remote has so much potential, I can think of 101 game applications that it could be used for, it appears to be sensitive enough to be accurate, while the tilt sensors work wonders.

However, the selection of games at the moment almost makes me tear. I browsed for hours and the only games I feel worth my hard earned cash are: Medal of Honor: Heroes 2, Rayman Raving Rabbits, SSB (Which is sold out Everywhere!) and Mario Kart.

Simply put the console really lacks the choice of decent games. There really isn't enough choice or variety to make me want to stick to my Wii. The games can't grab me for more then 2 minutes, the controls on the Wii are superbly used in Raving Rabbits and MOH: Heroes 2, but bar that I feel empty.

Such an excellent concept, but no decent implementation, companies appear to be "playing it safe" rather than generating games that push the boundaries of casual gaming.

So my Wii Remote is sitting on my floor, sidelined for my X-360 controller which holds so much more fun, but doesn't make my Kart jump when I jump :-(
