At least the 360 has quite a few good games . . unlike the PS3.

Well there are over 450 games on the backwards compatibility list, and while not every game is on there, it is still a huge list of games. So just enjoy what games are on the list, plus all the hundreds of 360 games. If you want to play one of the games not on the list, then plug in your old xbox.

It's not worth the cost of updating the list with more games since MS won't make any money from doing it, and compared to a new 360 title, original xbox titles are played by a very small minority.

I've still got an XBOX, and I also still have a PS2 . . and I think they're getting rid of BC for the sake of lowering their costs. I for one am pissed off though. When I finally get around to getting another PS3 (when some decent games come out), I don't want to have FOUR different systems sitting around my tv. The wife is pissed enough with 2 right now, and I have no clue where I'm gonna put my 360 when I get it back from my brother. The 360 has enough games that I'm content, but for games like Chronicles of Riddick and MGS2 Substance, I still need my original. I got one of the first runs of the PS3 60gb systems with full BC, but there were absolutely no games for it, and I needed the money, so I figured I'd just wait until it dropped a couple hundred and released some good games before getting it again. I had no idea that BC would start disappearing.

Did you play Ninja Gaiden before Ninja Gaiden 2? Ninja Gaiden is a vastly superior game to NG2 in just about every way. I did like the finishing moves and how much slicker the ultimate techniques looked . . but the camera was awful, and it was more of a hack-n-slash than a game that required skill. I agree with you on the other games though.
