You should consider GOG.com. It's in my opinion a much better digital distribution system for games than Steam! It cares about gamers and treats them with more respect than Steam does. Too bad not many of these industry players see it this way.

$11.99 is a bit expensive when the game contains almost non-existent new feature / update / upgrade. It's my opinion that Squre-Enix always charges these retro games at a greedily high price point across multiple platforms. I'll wait until a heavy sales on Steam or just dig up my PS1 and play the game again.

I wish Square-Enix will remove the Blitz ball game or change it in this HD collection coz the sport is NOT fun at all and pain to play. The HD collection will only contain 30-minute long CG ending scene as extras? This is hardly to justify the re-purchase of the games, imo.

Why not let Blizzard's own CG team to make the Warcraft movie in CG? Who else is better suited to make the Warcraft movie than Blizzard itself? It's in my opinion that outside sources will likely produce a messed up adaptation movie because they are not familiar with the source materials at all.

Open up the proprietary memory card and allow homebrew wares to be run on the system and then I believe the system might have better chances.

Wish I had the opportunity to be like Goddard or Winstead, I would be a very different man today! Sigh...

I hope this "surprise" is a good one, not for the bad one!

What will even be worse than these news are that after all these discussions and outcry, people still choose to embrace the new business practices and let these companies get away. I understand that it's people's right to choose whatever they want. However, if M$ and others can force this onto us, then none of these discussions mean anything.

In my opinion, videogaming will be a more and more controlled and restricted experience. Gamers' rights to enjoy videogames freely are quickly taken away by these greedy corporations. This is really a sad news for us gamers!

Why am I getting the feeling that MS is hiding something important from us in regard with the 2nd-hand / used games and gamers will not like it very much!? The Internet check-in at regular basis is essentially a form of always-on requirement to me. I hope I am wrong, but things certainly don't look good here. Sigh..., videogaming is more and more complicated and restrictive.
