I pre-ordered the collectors edition. Can't wait but does anyone know why the CE of the game has the disc in an envelop rather than a standard game box? I mean it is 99$...

you can try the upgrade guide on gamefaqs by Daetrinn. I thought his was really good. I don't think he tells you the exact components, but he does tell you the amount of xp needed to star the equipment. Hope it helps :P

I have his onhand actually, but i was really looking for an "easy way out". I used to have a guide that would tell you for example, 36x sturdy bone + 26 ultracompact reactors + 2 particle accelarators and so on for each weapon. I don't know why I deleted the bookmarked page but this guide did exist... Thanks for answering :)

Sorry to bother everyone with another FF thread, but I recently just got back into it to get the Treasure Hunter Trophy since its all im missing for the plat. I had a friend who got banned from GS (TheEldestGod) who had sent me a guide from Gameradars (?) i believe, and it showed the exact amount of components and multipliers needed for each accessory and weapon upgrade without over spending your gil. Ive looked everywhere and can't find it, its not in the any of the FAQ Walkthroughs found on GS's FF13 page and i couldn't find any threads with it either. If anyone used this guide in the past or knows where to look for it please point me in the right direction or post the link for me here. Thanks

Great thread TC, i was just thinking of this myself a few days ago. About two months ago I had a skiing accident and broke my leg so I've been stuck in bed for the most part of the 60 days. My friends come visit me evey weekend and we caught up while playing PS3. I have well over 50 games and in that 50 I have a measly 5 split screen games, the best being Resistance 2. But theres only so much co-op you can handle before it starts getting repetitive. Point being, bring back split-screen games... please!

If you are buying another ps3 you can attempt to fix your old one yourself so you can transfer the data over. This is what I did when mine broke and it worked out great. The fix is not too hard. Just look up "YLOD fix" on youtube. bacta_basics

Damn :x why did my PS3 have to die yesterday why!!!?

Exact same problem last week for me, got it repaired by some PS3 specialists who ovened reflowed the mobo and increased the internal fan speed + added a frontal fan to suck in more air and also got 2 year warranty :D for £110.

Unfortunately, they're in the UK, sorry mate :?. Best advice would be to try to find a similar 3rd party that is respectable and does a good job.
