I finished reading and watching(yes I do them both) the review for GRiD and I was wondering if it got the score it got for having limited multiplayer options. Because it seems that nowadays a game isn't excellent if it doesn't have an online component no matter how crappy it is(e.g. GTA IV). And this saddens me because even at my young age, I remember the quality times I had alone in my room playing Banjo-Kazooie, Pilot Wings 64 and Destruction Derby on my Nintendo 64 and never caring about other people when I played.
I still do the same with games like BioShock, GTA IV and Gears of War. In fact, my first online experience was with Halo 3. I enjoy playing with other gamers, I do. I like socializing and meeting different people but I hate it when people ruin other peoples' gaming experience. Like the 5 year olds you play online or the guys who swear like they're on a Jerry Springer episode and even the guys who cheat.
That's why I've given up on multiplayer. What are your opinions? Do you prefer multi-player or single-player?
