Christmas is near! Can't you feel the cheer?

Hey Guys! As i'm sure you know, we are closing in fast on christmas, it's less than a week away! So what better time to spread some cheer and have a great time? Many of me friends are going away for Christmas - for me, this is a bummer, as my birthday falls into that category and i don't get to see any of them. But here's my question to you: Do you have any special things you do for christmas? Do you go away? have a giant party christmas night with all the rellies? Leave a comment!

Myself, i don't go away. Over the course of christmas day, i see all of my grandparents (2 Grandmothers, 2 Grandfathers and a Great Aunt.) And we all celebrate by giving each other gifts and eating far too much food. It's a very festive event :)

Oh, and i might release my Kingdom hearts review after Christmas/Birthday, i got caught up playing Nintendo 64 and an entertaining card game "Skullaqualenta."

Well, my first few days here have been awesome! i've been warmly welcomed and shown around, and the community is really friendly. :D

Now, this is a sort of... interactive blog. Over the next hour, i'll be going around rating and adding games to my collection that i just haven't yet (it'll take a while.) - After i'm done, i'd LOVE you guys (my new friends!) to choose which game i do my next review on. Leave a post in the comments saying which one. I'll pick a random one out of a hat, and i'll announce it in a new blog.

Also, another thing i'd like you guys to do. I'm trying to get iconic games into my collection. Games that really make an impact on you, if you look at my Wishlist, i have Shadow of the Colossus there, also ICO. I'd love for you to suggest games i MUST get! Again, leave a post in the comments. Sadly, it can't be XBOX/XBOX360 exclusive.

Well, this morning i woke up to a pleasant surprise -> A little visit from a man in a red sui- actually, some people visited my page, but it's Christmas, ok? ^^

Euphoria overtook me as i saw something new. I HAD 3 MESSAGES! This was an exciting thing, given that i'm new around here, and i was ecstatic to find some people following my contributions :) On top of this, i also found that i have 4 reccomendations on my LittleBigPlanet review! I'm happy about that, 4/4 is a good ratio to have.

However, i still feel like i'm missing out on something. I've posted a bit on the boards, started a collection of games, done some ratings, started a blog and Written a game review. What could i be missing out on? Friends. I have no friends.

So over the next few days, i will be keeping an eye out for friendly people, adding them and subscribing to they're contributions. Thank you all for subbing me, as well :)

NB: Last night i finally got my first Gold Trophy as well :D The Play Trophy in LittleBigPlanet - this requires you to beat every level without dying, so i'm very happy to achieve it. Here's to more, hey?

3 Days ago i stumbled across Gamespot community. Having previously only used Gamespot for... well... virtually nothing, it came as a pleasant surprise as i discovered the amazing system everyone here is running. Immediately, i decided it was imperative i write a few game reviews. But oh no! For you see, the Gamespot community itself, is indeed, a game. Requiring dedication and patience to become accustomed too.

So after searching the forums, i finally discovered how to level up - and to much dismay, set about... well... waiting.

This morning i awoke, greatly excited to see i was Level 3! Finally, after much time idling and randomly browsing the website, i could write my reviews. So i did! So far, i've only churned out one single review - a 700 word breakdown of LittleBigPlanet that barely covers the skim of it. Excited to see the results, i've become impatient - Why hasn't anyone rated my review yet? Has anyone even read it? Well no, of course they haven't. I have no Friends. So now i'm more patient, i'm happy to wait a few days to see if i get a thumbs up - or a down.

However i'm thinking perhaps the way to go is the boards.
