wtf was the developer thinking!!! it was a major letdown for me. the spike in difficulty is insane!!! any tips on how to beat it in normal difficulty

There is a video on how to do it in TITAN.  He relies on tactic, and not skill.  So if you try to do the same things he does, I bet you will be able to do it quite easily in normal.

You need to block often and use Orkos stone, and the amulet of Uroboros as soon as they recharge.  Once the first 2 gorgons die, 2 witches will appear.  That is the time to begin using magic.  Always kill them with the red halo using R1, so that they recharge you 1 magic bar, and you can keep using your magics.

The trials are not hard, you just need to have EVERYTHING upgraded at that point.  Which is easily done because there are lots of white chets through all the game.  And In the temple of the Oracle there are 11 white chest, 6 feathers and 5 eyes.

Naomi analyzed Snakes DNAafter drebin injected him, and that's when she learned about the accelerated aging being apart of his DNA, as well as the new foxdie strain. I think she would have noticed if his DNA was being rewritten.

The new foxdie strain killed all of the people who could threaten SOP (Big Boss and Ocelot in particular), the Patriots had no reason to bring Snake back. If anything they would want him gone now, as he's a liability to their plans.

I think Debrin is loyal to Bigboss and not to the patriots. If you see the pic I have posted in a previous post (lol) you can see a kid, and I bet he is debrin. He will meet Bigboss in that game and maybe Bigboss will save him from something/someone and that is why Debrin is loyal to him and not the whole organization, just like Ocelot.

Also the thing Debrin injected him could be triggered to be active at a later time, who knows. If Kojima wants to "fix" Snake there is always a way to do it.

First of all, the thread question, is Solid going to be the playable character in Mgs5, even if it is a sequel to 4? And of course, lets asume Ol Snake is too old then.

Answer, when Solid met Naomi in 4 she did some scans on his Dna, can't remember what exactly, but there was that one single scene, showing Naomis monitor with 'copying Solid Snake'. More over, in that lab was a grown up size incubator. (or a solarium). So we will get another clone, a 1:1 clone from Solid.

As you can see in the new MGS game in which you are Big Boss, there are images of kid and a Dog, I bet the kid is Debrin and he met BigBoss back then, so he is loyal to him and not the patriots. And that explains why he injected the cure in MGS4, and that is why BigBoss said Snake to LIVE!!!!
