In my area (South Carolina) im also noticing a lot of "now hiring' signs lately.. Everything from retail stores, fast food places, factories and the local UPS and FEDex are ALL hiring in my area. A friend that works at best buy said they brought on 42 workers last month alone because they have been slammed lately. A new Imax theatre just opened here which costs $15.00 a ticket, ive been to 5 Imax showings since and so far each night i went it was jam packed, nice restaurants are also jam packed here also. Me and my wife have to wait on average over a hour everytime we go out to eat just to get a table.. None of this was like this last year. A stark difference in the last year.

Ofcourse we will always have "uncertainity" in the economy. But when you look at the facts this past year, its safe to say good times are here again. From a corporate standpoint, 2nd quarter corporate earnings from companies like Microsoft, Apple, Caterpillar, Ford, Mcdonalds, Haliburton, UPS, Fedex and GE have all come out with very strong corporate revenue and earnings.. The CEOs of corporate america are basically saying companies are prospering again and good times are here again. the US economy has had 4 cosecutive quarters of positive GDP growth, and this year we have had 6 straight months of private sector job creation. Not even including Goverment jobs, the economy has created 600,000 net new new jobs this year just in the private sector alone, when you DO factor in GOVT jobs that number stands at 1.2 million net new jobs created this year. grant it unemployment rate is at 9.5%, but that has slowly but steadily been declining since its reached its peak in November of 10.2%, consumers seem confident in spending again. I mean all you have to do is look at Apples earnings this quarter to know how good things are. Get this, the Ipad which has only been out for a few months and with a price range of $400.00-$700.00 is already a staggering 25% of Apples revenue! Apple reported literally their best quarter ever with both sales and profits! psssh, and the doom and gloom media says "The consumer is dead"

what do expect? Its a mmo.:?

and?? why should that be any different from any other online multiplayer game such as MAG for example.. what makes a MMO so different that it needs its own fee?

Persistent worlds.

So what is a MMO.. is it just abunch of people going around fighting each other and levling up with a lot of people in the same match or something?

Ok what the crap? $15.00 a month for DC universe online for PS3?! and not even any discounts for Plus member! thats absurd and an epic fail on Sony's part. They better ATLEAST have some sort of demo or free trial to see if its even worth it
