Yes, the awards are still going strong thanks to your support. Remember, the awards wouldn't be possible without your help, so thanks to all.
Just before I annouce the winner, I have something else to report:
I have recently rented The Warriors, and I have written a review for it. It's a damn good game.
Anyway, back to the ceremony!
Now you all saw the nominees for Worst Use of Special Effects, and I thought hard on picking the winner. But after a little bit of thinking, The obvious winner was:
And the unfortunate runner-up:
Now I was about to pick Sin City because of the INSANE overuse of CGI. But I almost forgot how heart-wrenchingly painful the SE were in Dominion. Those sequences were so bad.........it was jut too bad. That's all I can say.
Well, that category is finished. Now let's move on to the next!
Here are the nominees for:
Best Sound.
Featuring some of the best musical scores I have ever listened to, and not to mention everything else, King Kong delivers in spades.
I was surprised at how well they remade the oompa-loompa songs. They just sound fantastic, as does everything else as well.
From the awesome sound of gunfire, to the outstanding soundtrack, Jarhead brings to the table a new sort of sound quality.
Let me say this: Never before have I been so frightened by the sound of an alien siren.
I don't understand how anybody could NOT like the soothing but creepy score for this film.
Well, the nominees have been chosen. Which one do you think will win the award for Best sound?
Please comment on thoughts and opinions!
NOTE: I didn't put Episode III in this category. Why? It would already win by default.
Well, I will annouce the winner for Best sound tomorrow, but there won't be a "dubious" award for this category. Don't ask why.
Next up, the nominees for Best Design.
Swimming through veins....
GB and GN.
