Here is the thing. The reason why the Wii is selling at a faster rate than the 360 did after launch, they have done a good job of producing the consoles faster. Not everyone that wants one has them yet, but they have had them availiable. In March of last year I finally got my 360. And they were still hard to find.
Once you can get a Wii into everystore for some one to buy, the sales will drop. People will not be in such a panic to get one. It happens every console cycle. Once you know you can walk into a store and get one at any time. You realize you can hold off til the good games come out, and lets face it Metroid Prime is the next good Wii game. I want a Wii for that reason, but I can't say I want trun out right now and buy it for Wii sports.
I got my 360 and I am happy with it. I could care less who is selling the most consoles. Just because the Ps2 is selling the fastest does not mean I want to play it right now. I go where the games are. And frankly you can't argue that right now the 360 has the games.
And by the way, there is a huge differnce in attach rates between 4.5 and 6.4. It does not seem to be, but there really is when you look at it from a business perspective.
