Apparently, EA is making another Medal of Honor for the Wii. This is probably, IMO, one the most interesting announcements at the Nintendo press conference at E3, even though it was probably the least covered out of all of the games and topics at the conference.

What intrigued me most was the announcement of 32 players in multiplayer. Unless Reggie expects us to all have 8 Wii LAN parties, this may be the announcement of Nintendo's first, real on-line, such that it can actually be compared to Sony and Microsoft's on-line support, simply being the fact that a rather large amount of players one can go up against on-line.

Any thoughts or comments about this announcement?

Well it's complete speculation, but there will drop in quality from the PlayStion 3 and Xbox 360 versions when, or if it comes to the Wii.

Gameplay wise and control wise no there would be no drop in quality if this is done right and is built from the ground up. As for graphics, again if its built for the Wii's graphic engine then it would simply be something technically on par with Metroid Prime 3. Which compared to the Call of Duty 3 is a big improvement. Also its already being made for the DS. If Activision can downgrade it for a portable with the power of an N64 then it could surely do the same for the clearly more powerful Wii.

The DS version is going to be a completely different game. They also aren't going to make a ground up version of the Wii because then the entire development process would have to start again, because Call of Duty 4 was made ground up for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3.
