I love Video Games! Do you?

There are lots of things to do in this life. Some people go jump out of planes and say it was the best experience ever. Some shoot themselves and say, "boy I wish I hadn't done that!" Me...well I'm just a simple guy that loves his family, his animals, photography, and his video games! I'm a BIG reptile guy. I have 34 snakes (and counting), a few lizards, and even some tarantulas thrown into the mix. Most of my garage is dedicated to my collection of animals. If you are a reptile lover, please comment and share what you have. I also love photography. My business outside of my full-time job is photography. I have been photographing professionally for over 10 years from simple portrait sessions, sporting events, and even published work in magazines. I truly love it but the last few years burned me out and I almost completely ignored my family in the process. Life is much more peaceful for me this year since I've purposely slowed down my work life to get more time in with the family and invest in memories with my wife and kids. And since I slowed down my life...it has left me with countless hours of free time after the kids are in bed!!! I game with my son (sports, racing, and some simple shooters) but most of the time I spend gaming, I spend it playing military shooters or action/adventure games. Playing video games and completely forgetting about all the stresses in life is what it's all about for me. This goes back all the way back to playing games on a floppy disk on my first Commodore 64!!! Yeah, you read that correctly. Back...back...BACK in the day! So do I love gaming? Hell yeah! It's not my life though and it doesn't consume me. But it certainly allows me the opportunity to jump out of planes and shoot myself and still be able to go to work the next day. I'm lucky that I have a wife that also games and when she knows I need some time alone with my controller, she leaves me be and lets me have at it for as long as I need and never complains or says a word. Sometimes being blessed with the simplest things in life is actually the best experience we can ever have. So do you love games? Why?
