Personally i really liked FFX, when u got into the game u could not leave it quickly and u got into the story real quick. i havent played FFXII so i cant give any opinion on that. hopefully FFXIII will be great, but it sounds strange maybe. the trailers i have seen havent really catched my attention yet. it looked nice..but i miss some of the real FF flavour
I bought mine because I like the controller and for the exlcusives, yes some of them are multiplat now but who cares really. It is so annoying that people are always complaining about exclusives disappearing when exclusives are disappearing on all 3 systems. Bioshock and Eternal Sonata are no longer exclusive to 360. It seems like the other sequels will be on PS3 as well. We have the better controller for fighters, so even if Tekken 6 goes multiplat, we still have it better. Wow you paid more money to be able to play the same game. People that bought ps2 in 2002 got to play the same games for the cheaper price as well. I just got a 360 for 300 and got to play games at a hundred dollars less than early adopters. Get over it. If you adopt early you pay more.
The PS3 has a better first party than microsoft and it has equal versions of almost all multiplats. Some games run a squeak better on PS3 because of the install that people hate so much. Here is an idea for people who are disappointed in the PS3 and for future system buying. Look to what the first party has and not the 3rd. If you buy a system for one game that is your own fault. You can't blame companies because of your own stupidity. I am not denying that Sony screwed up. I hope you do sell your systems because without people like you on these boards because I am sure we won't run into actually playing a game. There is plenty of games coming in both retail and downloadable titles between now and spring, so shut up and play something unique like little big planet.

The way u put it it sounds to simple, although i kind of agree with you. The word exclusive has a whole different meaning these days. it will be on one console for a period of time only. companys wanna make money so better to get them on all the systems. ofcoarse there will always be exceptions with some games but that is mostly from Sonys own studios or Microsofts own studios.
Yes but it seems that the exclusives are slowly dissapearing. I bought mine for the the fact that I have much confidence in the PS3 and Sony, as i always had a PS in my home. Even besides that i also woned a xbox before together with a Cube and my ps2 back in the days. But at the point when I had to choose for the new Next gen console i bought the PS3 instead of what people say that i should buy the 360. Still i know the Exclusives that the PS3 has made me just want one
Valve doesnt hate Sony. The problem is that Valve has troubles with programming for the PS3 like so many other developers. So thats why they stoped making games for the PS3 untill whenever. It is more a case of time. Later on they realise what a PS3 can do just like EA. I know that it kinda sucks that we have to wait for it but allot of developers just dont want to invest that matter of time in there games when u can develop a game for the 360 or pc way faster with less money
Some say they bought a PS3, for the Blu-Ray, some for the games like Killzone2 MGS 4 or FF XIII. Or was it for the media options the PS3 had? Or even becuase u felt comfortable and trusted with Sony cos of the fact that the PS2 was so good in the past?

To be honest i dont see that happen that quickly. not the way it looks like now. and besides Sony is pumping enough cash in the PS3 to make it a success and untill this point they do it good. So it wont be another Dreamcast
Sony has taken a ten year span with the PS3. This will give game developers a good opportunity to make some really cool games for the PS3. Hardware always comes first then the developers. It will be interesting to see what Sony home turns into and what the next level of Sony games will produce. I can see the rise of the Playstation over the next seven years.FlashCharge
Thats also what i think, so people who say they will play the PS4 in 3 year time, well thats out of question :P
